I’ve also seen dog training classes being held down at the local oval for ‘ordinary’ dogs. Dogs of all shapes and sizes being taught, along with their owners to sit, stay, fetch and walk on a lead.
Of course, you can can train your dog yourself. You don’t have to go out to a training class and stand in the rain or sun while every other dog goes through their paces.
There really is nothing worse than having your dog jump all over you when you have just got all dressed up to go out. Those big paw marks are the worst things to get off your favorite outfit. Saves a lot of angst if you spend time with your dog doing some effective training. You will find that a well trained dog is a pleasure to have around.
Over the years I have enjoyed the companionship of various dogs. It just never occurred to me to send them out to work!
