Camping is the best way I can think of to make it possible for family holidays when budgets are stretched so tight during these difficult economic times. There is also a way to bring the family, because each member must take responsibility and the opportunity to flourish in the experiment. Of course camping is not for everyone, but maybe some people have negative associations with the thought of a camping trip that think that way because of past experiences that were less pleasant.
Camping can mean many things to many people. Some think they camped unless they backpack in the wilderness and are isolated from others.
