hunting trips in texas

What do I need to get a fishing license?
I live in Texas and am planning a fishing trip with my uncle at Lake Summerville. Need know if I have to pass some form of proof as you have to have a hunting license. and how much will it cost? But what if you're 17? must count as a minor or older?
No, there is a test:) All you have to do is go to the nearest Wal-Mart or Academy or other sporting goods store and display driver's license and buy a license. Most sporting goods stores sell them. Is also available online at: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/annual/general/information/ costs $ 38 with the salt and fresh water label. Children under 17 do not need a fishing license. Fish for free. ETA: children under 17 years of age are not need a license so if you are 17 years or more you need a fishing license.
