hunting frame packs
External pack frame question?
Has anyone had any experience with the package Big Country Redhead external frame. I'm looking to get into hunting backpack. If I travel by myself or with someone else. I'm on a tight budget. It has 5600 cubic inches of storage. with some modifications, like a leash to keep my gun, I think it will work for me. Do not expect to be a wasteland Kifaru package or simply not want to waste $ 90 on a package I hope cannot. Looks like a good deal for $ 89.95. Is it too good to be true? If anyone has any other package of proposals under $ 200 would appreciate it too.
A large package means a large load and that means taking some real upset if nothing is packed for a very long distance. I carried 48 pounds in a pack 4800ci by 30 miles and I never will again. Minimize what you need to go and buy the smallest, lightest package that meets that criterion. Check out Campmor. They have some external frame pack offers below $ 90. Your not going to get a camouflage pattern, however.
