COMMUNITY ADONTE
INTRODUCTION / LOCATION
Adonte is an autonomous community in Aniocha South Local Government of Delta State of Nigeria.
Adonte consists of five rooms and several streets of the town:
- Idumuokete quarts
- okenu quarts
- Imeani quarts
- Idumuonitcha quarts
- Ikokogbe quarts
Interior
Adonte is governed by a village chief called OBI which oversees city affairs with their bosses entitled represent the cardinal points, are also DIOKPAS who are the leaders of each of the rooms DIOKPAS are based on the oldest man in each quarter, which presides over all meetings of men and gives his reports either directly to the King (OBI) or through the leaders who represent their quarterfinal match.
The Ada is the oldest woman in each quarter, who chairs the meetings of all women and also reports to the king through his aid or bosses.

BRIEF HISTORY
Historically, emigrated from Beni Adonte Kingdom for many years, According to the story when he was a major disagreement between the Oba and his wife, so called traditional energy disturbance that included the children of one of the queens and a sacrifice was made, but the queen refused their children to be used for sacrifice. So on the night of the Queen decided that their children should run the palace to a distant country.

He settled in that country and called EDOETTEE land that was later called ADONTA is also now called ADONTE.

The particular site was established is now known as ISHUANIGA (against Anigo) in a neighborhood known then as now ISIANI IMEANI.
The Reign of Adonte then began with a family in particular maintaining a royalty to the king of traditional leadership Idumokete feces he had no heir to take over his throne gave him her faeces Ikokogbe's bosom friend.
