Is it legal to hunt deer with a rifle muzzle loading not in Ohio?
I've always been a bow hunter, but I just moved to Ohio and decided to start a hunting rifle. But he looked over the regulation of hunting and says you can or can not hunt with a muzzle loading rifle not. I have a 30/06 rifle. Does anyone know if it is legal?
A Deer Hunter can not hunt with any weapon other than a .38 caliber rifle Muzzleloading or higher, which means that the rifles rimfire or centerfire are not allowed for deer in Ohio. Scalable and Mechanical broadheads are legal. Poisoned or explosive arrows are illegal. Crossbow – Develop weight not less than 75 pounds. The arrowhead will last at least two edges that can be exposed and unexposed minimum 3 / 4 inches wide. Expandable and mechanical Broadheads are legal. Poisoned or explosive arrows are illegal.
