How I can get over being demoted?

I was working as assistant / mgr with a company that had a very bad manager. our very different management styles. She was critical, played favorites, and was more aganist all my ideas. Claimed for himself the results, and all partners work he disliked. I was demoted from my position by claiming that he was not following procedures and further training would not be useful. She gave me a very Boot bad review, and then told all the colleagues who did not ask any questions that were related to work, only to ask. Finally left the company, and now I'm running the game. I had two big interviews, and I feel maybe I'm getting a bad reference from this employer … Hawaii is a state at will not give a notice of 2 weeks. I finished my shift at my weekend sch. mgr called and filed a written waiver. Any advice would be good. Putting ….. very discourgaed

Just in case …. If you answered the same way in the interviews as you describe the situation in question (I'm not saying it did, but if he did) that may be the problem. When asked why you left your last job, made plain to honest, but not too personal. Example of the basis of your question is along the lines of "There is a conflict of views and I am in search of better opportunities to learn work and the possibilities xyz to advance my career. "
